See how we helped HappyClean pivot from residential to commercial cleaning, redesigned their website to fuel growth, and secured a game-changing national account with Starbucks—all while empowering the owners to step back and work on their business, not in it.
In September 2024, Ross and Aida, the owners of HappyClean, reached out to us with a goal: to expand their Austin, Texas-based cleaning business from primarily residential services into the highly competitive commercial cleaning space.
At the time, HappyClean had a respectable reputation for residential cleaning but wanted to unlock the next level of growth by landing larger, longer-term commercial contracts. Their online presence, however, didn’t reflect the scale and professionalism needed to compete for these bigger opportunities.
After finalizing a contract in November, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. The first major initiative was a complete redesign of their website—repositioning HappyClean as a go-to provider for commercial cleaning, with messaging and visuals that appealed to office managers, facilities directors, and procurement teams.
We launched the new website in early 2025, an 8-week project that delivered a streamlined user experience and a clear, professional brand. Within weeks of going live, Ross and Aida reported an immediate uptick not just in lead form submissions, but in the quality of those leads. No longer were they chasing down small, low-margin residential jobs—they were fielding inquiries from large commercial prospects.
Next, we launched a tightly focused Google Ads campaign targeting commercial cleaning keywords in Austin. The results came fast: within just three weeks, we hit our initial quota and, most notably, secured a multi-location contract with Starbucks—a transformative win that marked HappyClean’s arrival as a serious player in the commercial market.
Since then, our work together has evolved. We’ve partnered closely on long-term growth strategy, helping Ross and Aida build a marketing and sales engine that continues to pay dividends. Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of this journey? When we met Ross, he was deep in the trenches—physically working on job sites and handling day-to-day operations. Today, both Ross and Aida have stepped back from the daily grind, focusing on high-level strategy and leadership, confident that the business is thriving with systems and processes in place.
We’re currently planning the next phase of growth for HappyClean, building on the strong foundation we’ve created together.
“Partnering with Honeyguide has been one of the best business decisions we’ve made. Kyle and his team took the time to truly understand our goals and helped us transform our business. From the website redesign to landing major commercial accounts (hello, Starbucks!), every step has been strategic, professional, and impactful. What we love most is that we’ve gone from working in the business to working on the business—something we never thought possible this quickly. We can’t recommend Honeyguide enough.”
